Just adjacent to the estate is a thriving trout farm, which leads us to mention our trout-rich river and six dams – come prepared! Rainbows up to 20″ are regularly caught here, and average size is in the region of 15″.  

We do have a no catch and return policy, therefore you do need to pay for the trout you capture during your stay. Find out at reception what our prices are. Prices subject to season and trout breeding schedules.  Don’t let this detour you from our various alluring trout dams offering hours of family-friendly fun. Guests are also welcome to enjoy scrumptious trout meals at the Du Kloof restaurant.

Here at Du Kloof we support we believe in the honestly policy where we trust that our guest will report any catch. Please remember there is NO catch and release allowed & that there are hidden cameras at trout dams to ensure honest reports.
